Our History
Phoenix Theatre Company was formed in 1995, following the amalgamation of two local Manningham based theatre companies: Doncaster Templestowe Musical Society and Footlights Theatre Company.
Phoenix Theatre Company was established with the philosophy of integrating young performers, and older more experienced performers, from within the local eastern suburbs. At Phoenix we have the philosophy that performers and production staff form the back bone of our theatrical community and we constantly encourage people to push their creative limits to their fullest potential, within a safe and structured environment.
Phoenix Theatre Company Inc is a not for profit, community based theatre company, which is managed by a committee of management elected by the members.
